Clos Pegase Mitsuko's Vineyard Chardonnay - $25

The cool growing region of Carneros allows us to keep the verve and complexity in our Chardonnay and delivers just the right amount of naturally bright acidity that works well when paired with the finest French oak. Aromas of fresh cantaloupe, jasmine blossom and pear are all underscored by subtle oak derived notes of brioche and crème brulee. On the palate, the character of the wine leans in the Californian direction, with cut melon, a touch of pineapple and Asian pear. The grapes are sourced from our estate vineyards in both the lower Awatere Valley and lower Waihopai Valley in Marlborough. Lifted aromatics with pineapple, passionfruit and intense citrus blossom. Elegant palate with white peach, underscored with tropical fruits and linear acidity. It has a creamy mouthfeel and texture due to Loveblock’s organic winegrowing practices.

King Estate Willamette Valley Pinot Gris - $20

The King Estate Pinot Gris 2016 vintage is a gorgeous, mouth-watering example from another stellar Oregon growing season. This has a pale straw color with glistening edges. Aromas of ripe pear, fresh cantaloupe and honeysuckle fill the glass. Juicy flavors of just ripe pear, wild honey and pineapple are framed by a balance of viscous texture and clean, racy acidity. This wine will age beautifully through the next decade.

Peter Zemmer Pinot Grigio is from the Alto Adige region of Northern Italy, bordering Switzerland and Austria  The rich aroma as well as the excellent acidity make this wine hard and rich. The color is a radiant straw-yellow with a greenish tone.  The bouquet is an elegant flowery aroma with typical tones of ripe fruit (pear, melon) and spices.  The flavor is fruity mineral flavor, full-bodied with fresh acidity.
